Who We Are

Donate Online

Street Kids International empowers youth to break the cycle of poverty.

Over the past 25 years, Street Kids International has worked in over 60 countries to provide youth with practical, hands-on-skills that they can apply to entrepreneurial endeavors and entry-level jobs. We are a Canadian charity founded and headquartered in Toronto, Canada, now with a second office in the UK.

We do not believe in providing hand-outs. Our goal is to provide sustainable skills through education, which can be used over a long period of time.

Through a unique Train-the-Trainer model, Street Kids provides educational workshops on relevant business skills to Master Trainers and Youth Workers based in developing countries.

They, in turn, educate at-risk youth in their communities, adapting the tools to make them culturally relevant and locally applicable.

We stand out from other charities because our program offers sustainable skills that youth can use to break out of the poverty cycle - they change their futures for themselves, not through a hand-out from developed countries.
