FAQs

Street Kids International is a non-profit agency with offices in Canada and the United Kingdom. Over the past 22 years it has become a global leader in helping street kids around the world successfully earn a living and make healthy, educated decisions to better their lives. It reaches youth through innovative workshops, animations and tools about sexual health, drug use and entrepreneurship. Having reached more than 2 million street kids in more than 64 countries, Street Kids International has been recognized by former United Nations Secretary General Kofi A. Annan as a global best practice leader in youth work.

It is our annual “host your own event” campaign; an opportunity for community members to assist in raising money to support Street Kids International in improving the lives of the most vulnerable kids around the globe.

Tax receipts can be issued to the participants of your events for their full donation amount. In order for a receipt to be issued, the donation must be more than $10 and must be submitted with full address information.

As a host, you invite your friends, relatives and neighbours to come to your home (or other venue) for dinner, drinks and fun and at the same time make a contribution to Street Kids International.
