The Drawn to Development 2011, held at the Distillery District on October 13th, has once again surpassed expectations.
We thank Drawn to Youth, all of the sponsors, guests and Street Kids International Board members for making this event a tremendous success! Details on funds raised for Street Kids International and pictures from the event coming soon.
This summer, 36 emerging and world-renowned Canadian photographers have created original artwork inspired by the drawings and stories of street-involved youth from Ethiopia, Kenya, Nepal, the Philippines, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania. These youth courageously strive to transform their lives
despite the barriers they face living in poverty.
Produced by recently founded, Canadian not-for-profit organization, Drawn To Youth, Drawn To Develop has raised over $100,000 for the innovative youth programs of Street Kids International to date.
Drawn To Develop 2011 Committee members and Drawn To Youth Board members include: Jo Cutajar, Sean Evans, ishi, Chryssa Kats, Panos Kats, Liz Kohn, Katrina Kyselytzia, Darren Lund, Elia Pandeli, Jeffrey Remedios and Bruno Sousa.
