the amazing markham race

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this year’s Amazing Markham Race that was held of Saturday, May 26, 2007.  The students raised just over $6000 for Street Kids International!  Congratulations students! 

On race day everyone held their breath as two teams barreled to the finish line.  It was Team Brownstein who were able to cross the finish line just seconds before our second place team, Team Tamsy.  It was an exciting finish to an exciting day.

Thanks again to everyone for all of their support!

The 2006 Amazing Markham Race had students from many of Markham’s high schools participating in a fun-filled day loaded with mentally and physically challenging events all across Markham, similar to the show The Amazing Race. The students raised close to $8,000 for Street Kids International, and had fun doing it.
