Street Kids International is a non-profit agency and a global leader in developing and disseminating the strategies and tools needed to give street kids around the world the choices, skills, and opportunities to make a better life for themselves. Having worked with more than 2 million street kids in over 60 countries, Street Kids International has been recognized by the United Nations as a Global Best practice leader in youth work.

Street Kids International is a registered charity in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom and is currently delivering programs in over 10 countries globally.

ecco walk for lifeStreet Kids International and ECCO Walk for life have agreed to a three year partnership that will improve the lives of youth in Kenya and Poland. The partnership will include a number of initiatives, including a series of ECCO Walkathons. For each kilometre participants walk, ECCO will donate approximately €1 euro to charity.

ECCO Walkathons are scheduled throughout Europe in Auguest, September and October 2008.

  • Jane Bird, Street Kids' intern in Bolivia was recently interviewed about her work for the website Apathy is Boring
  • On April 30, 2008 Street Kids celebrated its 20th anniversary, and honoured a number of significant supoorters. Check the news release for more details.
  • In November 2007, Street Kids International was featured on the French-language television show Partir pour ses idées, on TV5 in Canada. The show featured the stories of youth in Nepal who applied the skills learned through our Street Business Toolkit.
