Duncan Dyason is founder of Street Kids Direct, The Toybox Charity and El Castillo -Guatemala.
Duncan first became aware of the plight of the street children in 1991 when he watched a BBC Everyman documentary called ‘They Shoot Children Don’t They?’ He then moved to Guatemala and began to reach out to the children on the streets.
Now living back in the UK, Duncan visits the street children and the projects that help them in Guatemala and Honduras three times a year. He covers all his own costs each time he travels to Central America and his first-hand accounts of each trip are below.
